The Old Course, St. Andrews
The Old Course is the cultural and historical home of golf; the game has been played here since the 15th century. From the moment you arrive at the first tee, in the shadows of the majestic Royal and Ancient Clubhouse, you cannot help but be absorbed by a sense of occasion, anxiety and ultimately excitement. The Ailsa, Turnberry
Long regarded as one of the finest courses in the world, the Ailsa came to international prominence with the famous duel between Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson over the four days of the 1977 Open. The golf course enjoys a spectacular coastal setting with breathtaking views of Isle of Arran, Ailsa Craig and the Irish Sea and is surrounded by Scotland’s most beautiful scenery. Scene of some of the most memorable moments in Open history, the Ailsa Championship course is a legend in the world game. Watson, Norman, Price; they’ve all won The Claret Jug, golf’s most coveted trophy here on the Turnberry links. Another name will join them in the summer of 2009 when the Open Championship returns to the Ailsa

Kings Course, Gleneagles
The King's Course, opened in 1919, is a masterpiece of design, which has tested both professional and amateur. James Braid's plan for the King's Course was to test even the best players' shot-making skills over the eighteen holes. Selecting the right club for each approach shot is the secret on the King's. It is certainly one of the most beautiful and exhilarating places to play golf in the world, with the springy moorland turf underfoot, the sweeping views from the tees all around, the rock-faced mountains to the north, the green hills to the south, and the peaks of the Trossachs and Ben Vorlich on the western horizon

The Royal Dornoch
Formed in 1877, The Royal Dornoch is referred to as ‘The Star of the North’ and is rated world number 15. Bordered by the Dornoch Firth with views of the mountains of Sutherland and the gorse ablaze with yellow in early summer, it is not long by modern standards, but you have to think your way around the bunkers, sand hills, and the other interesting features. It was designed by the legendary Old Tom Morris who used the unique links-land features to create a magical golfing experience
